Every music lover is overjoyed as the program of the ‘Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav (Festival), Pune’ for 2015 (founded by Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi) has been declared. Organized by the ‘Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal’, it is the most revered festival of classical music in India.
As mentioned by Shri. Shrinivas Joshi of the organizing committee, “The Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav (Festival) is celebrating its 63rd year and shall be between 10th December to 13th December 2015.”
Current November heavy rains all over Maharashtra might take shivering cold with it in December. However for music lovers, nothing can ever be a barrier. As usual, they will be there at the Music Festival.
